Job Description:

Seaspray Financial Services Ltd is a new and exciting financial advisory and wealth
management business. The founder of the firm has over 30 years in the wealth management
world and has recently launched the firm to offer financial services to both the SME and high
net worth markets particularly for those clients who are missing the personal touch.

Reporting to the Managing Director of Seaspray Financial, the purpose of this role is to provide
top quality Financial Advice to existing and new customers of Seaspray Financial Services
Ltd. This is a target role based on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis.

Your role as a dynamic Financial Advisor will be to ensure that our clients are fully updated on
their entitlements and are financially prepared for the future. During your consultation, you will
also help them assess any potential savings they could make through our preferential products
& services. This role is suited to candidates with experience as a Life & Pensions Broker
or a Wealth Management background. This role will be based out of our Dublin 2 office but will
entail some travel.

What this Job is expected to Do (Accountabilities):

1. Develop sales of financial products offered by Seaspray Financial to existing and new
clients and if required to undertake a needs analysis with existing and new clients you
meet with in your role as a Financial Advisor.

2. Going forward provide support to our Mortgage division by meeting clients availing of
mortgage’s and advising on appropriate protection policies.

3. Use the Company’s Financial Health Check software to generate health insurance,
mortgage and lump-sum investment leads and to update customer data.

4. To maintain commercial awareness relevant to this role in relation to changes in life
and pension products and industry specific changes.

5. Service existing clients in the Financial Advisor’s area and provide Financial Health
Checks and advice on personal financial planning to such clients.

6. Develop links between the Company and local representatives of the markets with
whom we do business.

7. Promotion of the Company’s reputation and good standing as a provider of financial
services.

8. Carry out such other duties as may from time to time be required by the Company.

9. Keeping up to date CPD, compliance, experience with policies and procedure.

The level of Knowledge / Skills / Experience (Technical Competency) required for the
role:

 Full CFP preferable, Full QFA is essential.
 2+ years of experience desired
 Previous selling experience and a proven track record in achieving targets
 Target achievement on inbound and outbound calls
 Strong customer service including building long term relationships with the firm’s
clients
 Strong customer service
 Strong communication skills
 Ability to work on own initiative or part of a team to streamline services
 Excellent computer and Microsoft office skills

Please note this will be mixture of Office and field-based role and some evening work will be
involved. Full training is provided which provides a full insight into all areas of our business.

Full QFA status or progression towards QFA qualification is essential. However, full
educational support will be provided for approved courses such as QFA.

This role is a ‘controlled function’ as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations
2011. Any appointment will be conditional on the company being satisfied that the appointee
meets the requirements as set out in the Fitness and Probity standards issued by the Central
Bank.
